Instructor Initiated Drop

A student who is absent from class meetings of a course during the first week of any term and does not inform the instructor or the instructor's department of his/her intention to continue as a class member may be administratively dropped from the course per the instructor's request.  The academic college will notify students who have been administratively dropped from the course.
