Accreditation

The University of Michigan-Dearborn is fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission. Accreditation has also been awarded to various UM-Dearborn engineering programs by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, Inc. AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business has accredited programs in the College of Business. The College of Education, Health, and Human Services is a member of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, the Michigan Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, and the Teacher Education Council of State Colleges and Universities. In 2001 its certification programs were approved through the periodic review of the Michigan Department of Education.
