Major Requirements

A minimum of 36 semester hours from the following:

BIOL 240, BIOL 242, or BIOL 340, BIOL 342 and NSCI 120, NSCI 121 cannot be used for this major.

Notes:

  1. An overall GPA of 2.75 or better is required for a major or a minor.
  2. For a major, 6 or more semester hours must be in courses above 300 level, in addition to EXPS 420.
  3. Equivalents for transfer students (NSCI 231NSCI 232NSCI 233): two  of the three NSCI distribution courses may be transferred to UM-Dearborn.
  4. Astronomy can satisfy Earth/Planetary Science requirement.
  5. At least 15 semester hours in UM-Dearborn courses required for a major.
